Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah, Chairman of HFRI supported VSSM for Kakar Housing Project which was the construction of the houses of 72 families from Vadi- madari community. They are daily wage labourer earning by begging. Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah had taken initiative of this project with the request of donation by vicharta samuday samarthan manch and decided to provide houses to 90 vadi – madari communities. Moreover, HFRI supported VSSM for employment revolving fund that helped individuals from the nomadic and de-notified tribes to pursue their dream of becoming socially and economically independent. This fund utilized by doing a programme called “Swavalamban” to aware people about the same cause. In May 2019, HFRI had also donated a Maruti Suzuki Ecco Van for transportation of the Unnati Girl Hostel so that VSSM can provide education and medical assistance to girls from time to time.
