Udaan Youth Empowerment Camp

Venue: Pagir, Near JNV School, Leh Laddakh, Jammu & Kashmir – 15^th to 16^th May 2016

Dorai Foundation organised Udaan youth empowerment camp for disabled people facing problems like social, economical, self reliance etc. Shri Rakesh Kumar Badyal (Add. Deputy Commissioner) was a chief guest and Shri Rigzin Spalong (District Welfare Officer) was a guest of honour of this camp. HFRI had sponsored food, water, tea, snacks for two days in this camp to create awareness, sensitization and empower individuals with disabilities and bringing in an attitudinal change amongst their parents. There were in total 40 members who had participated in this camp including 25 caregivers of disabled people. Many disabled people living with muscular dystrophy benefited with this awareness camp and picnic
