Gujarat has very high rates of Non-communicable Diseases prevalence in population, especially elderly population, considering high risk factor for the elderly Niramay Charitable Trust with the support of Heart Foundation and Research Institute organized “Comprehensive Health Screening” to identify diseases and put them on treatment to reduce their risk and complications of elderly at old-age homesin the urban and rural areas of Ahmedabad District. During the screening camps 702 elderlies were screened on various health aspects such as Mental Well-being, testing CBC, consultation from MD medicine, Optometrist, Audiologist, etc… The Chairman of Heart Foundation and Research Institute, Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah gave a motivational speech to the elderly and wished them good health.
