Mega Ex-Servicemen Rally

Venue: Military Station, Gandhinagar – 27th and 28th Jan 2018 (9am to 1.30pm)

An Ex-Servicemen Rally covering all districts of Gujarat was held under aegis of Golden Katar Division on 27th and 28th Jan 2018 at Gandhinagar Military Station, chiloda and approximately 4000 Ex- Servicemen including war widows attended the same. The objective of the Rally was to connect with the veterans, provide them medical assistance and spread awareness about the least policies and entitlement. During this Rally, a mega medical camp was planned for the medical benefits to retired soldiers, their families and war widows who sacrificed the prime of their lives for the nation. Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah, Chairman of Indian Heart Foundation & Research Institute supported this camp and appreciated their remarkable efforts to protect our country. This camp involved screening of patients containing X-ray, Lab, Echo & TMT tests, distribution of free medicines & additional care by specialist doctors of Cardio, ENT, EYE, Pulmonary, and Skin. Transportation to &fro for retired military and war widows and housing them in the campus at Gandhinagar were part of this camp.
