media for social change- Ahmadabad film festival

Heart Foundation and Research Institute in association with SAPTA Trust came up with screening platforms on Breaking Stereotypes documentary films for changing mind-sets for social change is best way to set betterment. The event was organized on 8th March 2022 at City Gold Theatre, Satellite – Ahmedabad as a part of International Women’s Day Celebration. Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah was honoured on behalf of Mrs. Pratkisha Nitin Shah for her contribution towards women development by Anju Sharma (IAS). After lighting the lamp 6 different movies were screened. These movies addressed the issues faced by women and stereo type thinking. The films will be used as a strong medium of awareness and social change tool.
