Deacon was the annual conference of Dia care organised by Dr. BanshiSaboo and supported by Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah, Chairman of HFRI. This conference was a unique opportunity for diabetes related health professionals from country to share the latest scientific advances in this field from each expertise and experience and develop strategies for advancing all our efforts to treat and prevent diabetes. More than 100 national and 6 international faculties were invited with their expert knowledge in this field. This scientific feast for 3 days, were a great chance for innovative and new ideas to be heard and discussed. It had also provided perfect setting to exchange research and best practice in diabetes prevention, education and treatment to delegates and students. Deacon had the topics regarding type 1 diabetes, diabetes & women, obesity and nutrition, diabetes foot, educator’s workshop, prevention, and dissemination of knowledge regarding diabetes with workshops, lecturers and debates on creative and interactive sessions. There were many honourable people invited as a special guest nationally and internationally in this event.
