(Asian Blind Union) - ICEVI National Conference

Abu- ICEVI National Abu Conference, “Inclusion – Make it Happen” was organised by BPA and NFB (National Federation of the Blind) for education of people with visual impairment (West Asia). HFRI had supported this conference where 400 participants joined from all over India and abroad. This is the first conference leading two international organisations who joined this conference. There were 6 plenary and 16 concurrent sessions and 64 paper presenters on the topics of inclusive education, employment and advocacy for inclusion. This was the conference for people from all over west Asia to learn about new strategies in the education of the visually impaired. A large number of teachers working with visually impaired children had participated in this conference to get an opportunity to interact with the international experts in the field
