Dr. Nitin sumant Shah

Dr. Nitin Shah was born on December 31, 1945. He has obtained his MBBS and MD degree from Gujarat University. He has also got fellowship of various hospitals of London, U.K. His father Late Dr. Sumant Shah was a renowned Physician in Ahmedabad and also doing many social activities for the upliftment of poor people. Dr. Nitin Shah was inspired by his father for the social activities in his childhood. As far as his family is concerned, his wife Mrs. Pratiksha is an industrialist. And his two daughters are also industrialists.

Dr. Nitin Shah is presently Chairman and Managing Trustee of Heart Foundation and Research Institute, Indian Heart Foundation & Research Institute and Nitin Charitable Trust. Through these organizations, he is doing activities like running hospital for poor and rural people, health awareness programmes, camps, Health Exhibition programmes , Health Education Programmes in schools, financial help to poor and needy patients, Financial help to needy NGOs etc.

He is also attached to many other organizations. He is former trustee of V.S. Hospital, Executive Medical Director of B.P.A., President of National Association for the Blind, Public Health Patron of Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar, President of Gujarat Research Society, Trustee of Utthan Talim Kendra and Arvind lalbhai Charitable Trust. He is also Patron of Diabetes Care India and Satellite Medical Association. You will be glad to know that he is Medical Director of Gujarat in International Association for Medical Assistance to Travellers (USA).

It is very difficult to mention all his activities at present because it will take long time. In short, he is doing many activities and also associated too many renowned organizations for the noble cause of the society which cannot be expressed in words.

Mrs. Pratiksha Nitin Shah

Mrs. Pratiksha Nitin Shah is the managing trustee of Heart Foundation and Research Institute and Nitin Charitable Trust. She is a versatile, ambitious and business woman with a welfare worker. She is a Master in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management, Gujarat.

She has more than 40 years of experience in demonstrating leadership as a CEO of Arjyot Chemicals Private Limited and proprietor of Archem Industries which are companies manufacturing textile based chemicals. She was also Managing Director of the Ahmedabad New Cotton Mills Limited. Being a successful woman entrepreneur, she is always committed towards social welfare, and women upliftment activities. With a special focus on gender, she has encouraged many women organisations which are vigorously working for the betterment of women’s life and women empowerment.

Ms Monisha Nitin Shah

Ms Monisha Shah Nanavati is the Managing Trustee of Heart Foundation and Research Institute, Indian Heart Foundation and Research Institute and Nitin Charitable Trust. She has taken keen interest in HFRI initiatives and developed the vision of helping needy people, providing education and primary health care facilities to underprivileged people by supporting individuals and organisations that work for the same cause.

She is also a director of Arjyot Chemicals Private Limited and the founder of Vertex Cotton LLP, a leading sustainable company working to recycle all kinds of industrial textile waste. A Positive attitude and zest for life have constantly helped her balance all social and professional undertakings.

Ms. Sonali Nitin Shah

Ms. Sonali Shah is the Managing Trustee of Heart Foundation and Research Institute since its inception. She is also one of the promoters of the HFRI Mission to be influential in making powerful individuals and institutions working in the field of social wellbeing and human development. She has inspired others to work in the field of education, health and aid to poor people being not only a social worker but also a Director of Arjyot Chemicals Private Limited.

She is an expert in leading this company that is a manufacturing unit and Supplier of Industrial Chemicals, Raw Materials, Textile Chemicals. She has been instrumental in playing a key role in the Company’s enlargement with her inputs in Strategic Planning and Business Development. With her experience, she has managed her own company Arali Chemicals Private Limited, a manufacturer entity and directed the success and expansion of metals and chemicals business.
